Hello! You have found my hidden blog post - recipes for a cosy day. I mentioned in my "self love club" post that one of the things I really like to do when in need of a de-stress is to bake. I decided to compile a short post of some of my favourite recipes that I learnt as a child, which I think are perfect for a cosy, rainy day, or when you just might need some freshly baked goods to bring a little bit of happiness back into your day. Enjoy!
This is the perfect recipe for a Sunday afternoon when your banana's are starting to look a little too ripe. It's easy, smells delicious and tastes even better.
TANYA BURR'S COOKIES
Tanya Burr's cookies are my absolute favourite. Although this isn't my "go-to" recipe as there are quite a few ingredients involved, this is definitely the best recipe for when you just want that little more goodness (or "not-so-goodness" haha!)
PRIMARY SCHOOL SPONGE
This is a recipe that my mum taught me when I was tiny and I will never ever use any other! Whenever people try this cake they always say it takes them back to primary school days, so if that is something you'd like to recreate then this may be the perfect recipe for you.
Thank you so much for reading. I really hope you can enjoy my top 3 recipes for a cosy day. I would absolutely love to be tagged in any photos of your baking, whether it's these recipes or favourites of your own. Thank you again for reading and I hope you have a really lovely day!
